Well it's Monday again and it's pooring with rain boo hoo ! lets hope it gets a bit nicer soon. My brother got engaged on friday so i am in the process of making a card for him and his new fiance Sarah. I'm so chuffed shes a lovely girl and they are so well matched. its black and silver keeping it quite clean and simple.

I found this cool little easle in the Range (bournemouth) for £1 perfect size to display cards. There was also all the new docraft craft essentials in stock and the mag so i had a mini buy some really pretty papers called blueberry hill , I didn't think anything would be available till may but there it all was brill!!!!

off on hols to france soon with the inlaws so if anyone knows of any great craft shops in france (brittany) I would love it if you could let me know x

Hi Everyone - challenges

Hi to all that are passing by , well i managed 1 challenge card its on the blog too lol .. I am improving heehee.

The day just ran away with me yesterday Oliver (my little one see pic above) was being a little monkey so no chance of crafting until Ben got home then i had to do tea etc etc, by the time i sat down it was 9pm so a manic craft session began lol. It took me over an hour to colour my Tilda , it's my first Tilda and my first copic colouring so hopefully i will speed up then i had to put it all together but it was finished at 11.50, so late night for me. For some reason i thought the deadline was 12pm Wednesday but it wasn't it was today lol it was the sugar bowl challenge that finished at 12 so i was gutted i missed it anyways a nice card over all fingers crossed for it x.

hoping the little monster will take a nap today and i can get some more crafting done, the results will be up soon.

Challenges

Well I'm about to take a dive in to the world of challenge card making , I have never tried this before as all the cards look so great I'm not sure mine would stand up to the rest lol. I have decided to make for the 'just magnolia' challenge as its new and i love Tilda lol and also the sugar bowl challenge as sugar Nellie have all my fav stamps, both have 2 amazing sketches so they are very inspiring .

went to Ally pally at the weekend and it was sooo busy (i went Saturday) I had to drag myself away after 3 hours as i think i would have maxed out my card lol I did discover something really cool though ... Friendly plastic !! i watched a demo with it and bought a few strips i am going to make some jewelry with it and some card charms.

I also grew my copic collection lol Got quite a nice selection now I will post a pic of my colour cart it far from complete but may give you some ideas of colours its amazing how the printed colour chart from copic varies in colour compared to the real thing .

I have also just ordered my first Tilda Set ( summer) I am so excited i only have 3 Tilda's at the mo an a tree stump ! I have to wait for ages though till i get them .....I'm soooo rubbish at being made to wait hee hee oh well at least my gorjuss girls will be arriving home soon set 2 is stunning I missed the first set so there was no way i was missing out again !

so all in all I'm going to be a busy bee, I also have 2 commission cards to make plus i need to tidy my craft room wow x

Morning

Happy wednesday to everyone , its sunny here at the mo if not a little chilly.

I have finally started to collect some copic ciao pens to colour my beautiful new gorjuss girl and leanne ellis stamps (i'm soooo in love with then right now) I have been using some water colour pencils but i'm not happy with them i did also try whispers but the pens pilled up the card stock and not so hot to blend with smoothly.

I'm going to upload a few cards today I'm still just starting out so mistakes are happening it takes me an age to make one card too lol but i love it and thats to point, hey .

I'm still not sure what the best card stock to use with my copics is. so if anyone can recomend please let me know look forward to posting more of my creations soon .

also hope to make this blog look a bit better I see so many lovely looking blogs and have no idea how they do it lol .... more investigating needed.
